Missing Blinatumomab in Birmingham #8
Hello Brian, Thank you for your query. As the data is provided by RX Info, we will forward your query on to them and let you know as soon as we receive a response.
If you can kindly confirm the exact products and time period you are looking for/were discussing with the Trust then this may help you to receive a quicker response, please.
Thank you in advance, Kate Data and Insight Analyst Data Services NHS Business Services Authority
Hello @brianmkcebm,
We've had a response from Rx-info as follows:
This is because that Trust is an 'EPIC' site and before that they've dispensed it as an infusion with no dose, volume etc. so, there isn't any data that Rx-info can meaningfully provide.
It's a data quality issue from Trust's side rather than missing data from Rx-info. So, until the Trust fixes data uploads at source (dispensing systems), it can then be corrected depending on how SCMD data is scheduled to run.
Please do let me know if you have any further queries.
Kind regards, Kate
I gave a presentation in the Birmingham Womens and Children's hospital and they asked me to show them usage for Blinatumomab.
None / minimal amounts appear in SCMD - they said they dispense "boatloads".
Is there a reason it is omitted from SCMD?
